About
I’m a data scientist with a background in biostatistics and mathematics. I’m interested in survival analysis, causal inference and machine learning. I mostly code in R, and am the author and maintainer of the frailtyEM package. I have a PhD degree from Leiden University based on methodological research in frailty models.
I’ve worked in academia at the Leiden University Medical Center from 2013 to 2018. Since 2019 I work as a data scientist at Danone Nutricia Research in development of solutions for early life nutrition and medical foods.
